Hi there stecyk,
Nice work but a bit on the large side. I had to fire up another computer to see the other half of the first image. Just joking about the other puter.

the size is intentional. they are 150 dpi and meant to be viewed in a graphics app. just drag the image onto the desktop and then open it into photo-paint or comparable.

stecyk66,

Hi... I have to agree that the images are a bit large. On my 17" monitor, it wouldn't matter if I downloaded them or viewed them at i/us in messages. They would have to be reduced in order to see the whole image at once. Viewing only part of an image kind of messes up the effect.

Can you possibly reduced them enough to be seen in their entirety without the use of scroll bars.. and post them inside messages in the Painter Forum?

Since I read my e-mail on the web partly to avoid downloading images, that would be the only way I'll see them.

Thanks. What I can see indicates they're nicely done.

well i resampled the pictures! if your monitor is set at 800x600 you may have to scroll but these are as small of files i can bring myself to produce. hey, i like big images!

Hi again,

Thanks for posting an image that can be seen all at once on the screen.

My screen resolution is 1024 x 768, 17" monitor and your painting is roughly 3-5/8" square. It could be larger but doesn't need to be to enjoy it.

It's a beautiful painting, by the way. Obviously you have talent that I'd love to have. Love the choices of color!

Thanks for sharing.

Where did that angel with the beautiful smile go?
She reminded me of so many images of days gone by, before pouting, sultry, sexy, became the defacto. Like a statue in a museum, or on the hood of a car. What ever happened to those proud, bold, art deco figures; those honest, unabashed images of innocence of yesteryear?

jinny , br

thanks for the comments the forum is tending to load images awkwardly. i think maybe what needs to be done is to make a new posting for each image rather than attaching pics to replies. br, not to worry she'll be back, with friends. you saw what i was up to. thanks. that was created from a bw jpeg i found on the internet. the figure looked so sweet i had to do something with it. after numerous manipulations, floaters, blurs and impastos i ended up with an angel.

One of the first things I noticed with these forums is that whenever you edit/redo a post, it tends to delete the last character in the message (each time). Bruce would become Bruc, and Smileys would be gone do to clipping. Wondered if it would be clipping the attachment UBB code?
