    psp7 does have brushes but you can't change the blend that way. You can however paint on a separate layer and change blend modes on the layer pallet to the one you want. The way you explained though can still be accomplished by using the retouch tool set to ONE of the "saturation/light/hue/color to target" selections and go over it with that to change what you like. The same end result but a little different set up on the tools is all.

    I didn't take out the building because it's part of the landscape and I didn't know if Vicki wanted it out. If she does I would be happy to do it and explain how if she likes.

    a background to what? - a background is just a picture, it doesn't become a background until it has something in front of it - what did you have in mind?

    yes its not clear - I took it as a continuation of earlier post but reading it again you could well be right

    MISSYUK - if this is what you mean, the way I would do it [in PSP9 - it may be a little different in PSP7] would be to use the clone tool and clone ['paint'] sky over the man - see attached - half done.
    [The clone tool takes a part of the picture that you select - in this case the sky next to the man - and then clones [copies] it, hiding the man from view.]

    same with the building, basically.

    i dont no how 2 put this but here goes.... rite ive got a photo yea...and i want 2 remove the back ground and make or put a new background in! i dont even fink ne of ya no wot im goin on about do ya
