Brush Tool

hi,

i have a problem with the brush tool in rev 1775.

if i have created a brush, i can't use the "freehand and brushes" tool to draw new lines and i cant switch back to a normal line.

a second problem:
when i use a "stroke shape", i can't switch back to the standard shape.

i hope everybody can help me.

i have the same problem with version 0.7 Build 1777.
i can create a brush, but cannot draw with it, also the freehand tool does not work any more. after a restart of the program, the created brush is gone and i am able to use the freehand tool again.

(opensuse 10.2 KDE 3.5.7)

You shouldn't be disappointed, if no answer is known. Most of the users here use the (commercial) version of Xara Xtreme under Windows and not the Linux version. The Open Source project is "sleeping" a little bit (since weeks), because of some "problems" within the project.

thanks for your answer, remi! hopefully those problems aren't too serious... the xara open source project is a great thing! i'm totally aware of the fact, that version 0.7 revision 1777 is declared as potentially unstable, nevertheless it works great and is very fast. so i'm looking forward to the fix of the brush tool issue in one of the future revisions or versions.
