Exclamation how can I bring out the audience

I have a slight problem. I have a photo from a gig that I went to, and I think I can see myself in the background of it. buuuuuut, obviously, the audience is in darkness. Does anyone know how I can bring the audience out a bit and make it clearer who it actually is in the audience?

    Thanks

    Hi Sarah,

Open the picture in Photoshop. Click on the Image menu and select Adjustsments then select Levels. Play around moving the center (gray) and the right (white) handles to see if you can bring out the audience.

You can try to lighten the image by creating a levels or curves adjustment layer and change the blending mode to Screen. Adjust the midtones to bring out the details.
