Hi bill,

I tried playing with Bob's shot too, but the highlights where already white. When you deepended the colors, the white highlights grew until most of the awning is white. That is why I prefer to underexpose slightly. I can adjust a dark color brighter. But once you get white highlights, you are done. You can't do more with the shot.

You are correct. At least the boats are a bit more saturated

the colors do look better imho... Rarely do I ever not pway with the colors a little bit...
