    I found this to be a real challenge, I've must have started and deleted a dozen ideas. Here's mine, not the best, but I hope you like it

    good stuff here - too busy elsewhere to post here for the mo.

    I think thats a very good composition like a ceramic tile in style - only thing I can see wrong - the background coloration with perhaps a different grain.

    Seems to me that this is a great niche use for Xtreme, perhaps a tutorial and a nod to a marquetry group/magazine would have a good effect..

    Very nice, Tim. It would take a master Marquetrer (is that a word?) to do that in real life.

    Just by chance I found some more Marquetry - I was looking up work by one of my all time favorite artists Eyvind Earle and found this artist.http://www.visionsfineart.com/radvanyi/aa_index.html

    Parahandy - just a design no specific product

    handrawn - I think I agree with you, I had a terrible time with this I found it quite difficult. Thanks for the suggestion!!

    Tim, great link, beautiful work! I looked up Eyvind Earle, excellent serigraphs! Thanks.
    Still marquetting, not happy with my results thus far.
