    Nice photo and boat!

Was the photo taken before the draught began? The television news reports recently are showing a lot of dried up wetlands in Florida.

    "Are there any fishes?"
Yes, fish, turtles, snakes, alligators, a large variety of wildlife inhabits the Florida Everglades.

    Bill,
Was the photo taken before the draught began?
I took the photo a few weeks ago.

And don't forget the worst of the animals in the Everglades...the invasive Burmese Pythons. There were pictures in the news here of a python which had killed and eaten a six-foot alligator! Sounds like something out of a horror movie, but it was real!

The irony is that while it was virtually immobilized and eating the alligator, a larger alligator came along and took care of the python!
