I found an interesting thread at the Wings 3D forum about Kleins bottle, a variant of the Moebius band. So this is my first try to model a Klein bottle (= where the pipe/neck turn itself into the bottle so the opening goes out through the bottom of the bottle - obviously there's people who have too much time) in Wings 3D, and rendered in Vue d'Esprit.

Nice Paul, I have been looking at Vue (wishing I had it) for a long time.

Beautiful bottles. Moebius & Kleins have always been intriguing, but these put math and aesthetics together. very nice.

    Hi Paul,

Very nice modeling, composition, and rendering. Your organic computer is obviously better equipt to visualize these things than mine. Mine slowed to a crawl just looking at the images and trying to figure out how one could be modeled
