Playing around with a tutorial on Moebius rings, trying to come up with a more simple way of creating the rings.
The result was modelled in Wings 3D and rendered in Vue 4 Pro. Some contrast and sharpening done in Photoshop.

Hi Paul, I gave the moebius ring shape a try.
Mine is not as cool as yours, I swept a rectangle around a circle with a 180 deg. twist. Then I merged the verts on the ends.
Hey good work Mike, what app did you use for this?
Paul, would you be willing to share the source of the tut for creating this in wings?
I just love following this ring around and around and around... hehe
Gidgit - here's the original tutorial . I post mine as soon I have time to write it down.

Gidgit, I modeled with sweep nurbs in C4D.
Paul... thank you very much... I will have a boo and see what's what, and I look forward to your tut... This is great stuff
Mike... would you care to share your technique on this as well, maybe a mini tut for C4D ? ... for what ever reason I personaly put this object ahead of the "teapot" for classic 3d... it's just a really cool object
