Before computers, calculators and spell check, people had to use their own memories for a lot more. Today it is thought impossible for kids to know their times tables, to be able to spell, to be able to read the directions on a microwaveable tv dinner. If evolution is right, (and let's assume it is) we should be brighter more intelligent people than a generation ago, two generations ago. Besides, most items such on toolbars have a hover state which tells you the keyboard shortcut anyway.

Memory for a human being is a skill that the more we use it, the more we have.

The more you use a program, making it faster lets you get more done. It just makes good sense to utilize what it can do.
However you can also customize your interface, move things where you find them more convenient or make your own buttons to execute scripts for whatever
you need to do more of. So it is easier to remember a button.

Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

I've been working on this on and off for days, here is what I have so far. They are not as good as yours, but I think I have the basic idea. Now it's on to Jell-O.

I'm using CorelDraw X3 suit. I copy and paste between Draw and Photo Paint.

PhotoPaint only has a few new enhancements, nothing that anyone's done here that couldn't have been done from version 8 that I am aware of.
