    Default Simple resolution question

I have a large .tiff file that I need to resize to about 160 px square. When I do this the text becomes very blurred. It is razor sharp in it's large state.

It doesn't seem to matter what format I try to save it in, it still gets blurry.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Rut

    Hi Rut,
The blurring after such a resizing is quite natural.
Try other resampling algorithms ("bilinear" or "bicubic sharper" may work better for text) and / or sharpen the resampled image with a filter.

if the text is on its own layer, change the text setting to crisp instead of smooth, this should help
