    Huummm

Thing is the eye needs to be drawn into the artwork, otherwise the brain switches off [so the theory goes].

In the example with the shadow text, my eye is drawn to said text.
In the example after it is drawn into the open picture.
    I prefer the latter.

This latest version is ok, but the balance isn't quite right - it's the white line that does it.
Extending that across the picture would look wrong I think.
Taking it out altogether might not work either.
Maybe try a second white line between the telephone and the web address to balance.
Think you would need to reduce the width of these two white lines to get it right
I'd be inclined to stick as it was, to be honest.

    Paul
    Good morning
Having asked for help I am extremely grateful for the comments and suggestions of all contributors and would certainly never be offended by critiques.
Like you I am not totally convinced by "the shenanigans" with the transform your kitchen text or indeed my attempt to have the thing read your/our

I love the cards although they highlight the difficulty I have been having with the name and a logo for the name which is newkitchendesign all one word.
There were very good reasons for that, one aspect of which is that it is always No 1 in search engines.
An organisation with a much bigger budget than my modest efforts can afford could really go to town with trademarking etc and make the brand something rather special. ( We can dream cant we )

I am really taken by your suggestions for the NKD card. On the attached I have included our present logo in white which looks quite good on the bigger version. I realise fonts etc need cleaning up

Yes, thumbs-up "B". Make the cards, go out and sell kitchens.
