Prices for upgrade to Illustrator CS3

From Amazon the price seems to be about $200.00 just for the upgrade. I also have photoshop CS2 that can be upgraded. Now the dollars start to add up big time. Lower prices can be had I'm sure later when it comes out in April for the educational versions. GT

In Germany the upgrade price for Adobe Photoshop CS3 is EUR 296.31.

But this price is only available, if you owns Photoshop 7, CS or CS2. If you like to upgrade from an older Version like Adobe Photoshop 6, the upgrade price is EUR 950.81 and the full version costs EUR 1,069.82.

In the UK to upgrade AI alone it is £163.32 which is far more expensive than in the states with current exchange rate being used at $1.94. Still think if I was silly enough to buy I would go for the print Creative Suite CS3 at £340 for ID, PS, Acro 8 and Illy but I don't think I will be crazy enough to do that unless I get a real easy private commission job that pays lots.
