Photoshop 7 & CS

Hi Please can someone help,I am using windows xp home and wanted to upgrade to photoshop cs,I tried to uninstall photoshop7 but i keep getting
" unable to locate the installation file F:\Uninst.isu: uninstallation will not continue "Therefore I installed CS on top of photoshop7 hoping it might repair itself but it did'nt
As anyone got any idea how I can uninstall photoshop 7 I have tried Adobe but getting no where.

Hi, Well Installing Photoshop CS doesn't overwrite files on Photoshop 7 but it installs in a different destination.

Secondly, photoshop generally uninstalls easily. But in ur case if it is not uninstalling you can manually delete the files and folders of Photoshop 7... I think there is no other way to remove it from ur computer.

Try putting your Photoshop 7 CD in the drive and then do an uninstall.

To Glitto and S0quili, I am very sorry is has taken so long to reply but my internet was down.
Soquili I tried your idea but it didn't work, thank-you for trying to help.
Glitto. I have'nt tried to uninstall photoshop reason being at 70 years of age and computer technology has me beating my brains out so I will leave your suggestion until my son comes home at the weekend as he try it
