    Blootoof

You appear to have uploaded a url/link
if you upload the xara3D file from your computer it should then display

    Blootoof,

I adjusted the texture in your Xara3D file so it is centered on the circle.

okay I'm guilty of misleading you here I think with sloppy terminology sorry
when I say upload the saved xara3D file what I mean is the exported animation

in the file menu of xara3D you will find export animation - if you export as gif and upload that it will then display

    you sure are
looks like you got one inserted in your post text and one as an attachment - there is no need to do both

I am very much a learner with 3D6 but I think this may be the way to do it.

I created a circle the same size as my avatar pic (100pix), copied it then pasted it into 3D6

In 3D6 I selected the colour option and clicked on texture which brought up a file selector from which I selected my avatar pic

After that just a question of selecting animation type and saving as animated gif.

<blush> see you did it properly while I was messing about, must learn to press refresh before making useless post in future

You mean you have to BOTH, pasted it & then select it as Texture (bitmap)? ... just seems redundant...??

Does the shadow edge get cut off as the shadow is sooo far removed and out of the graphic box? (trying to learn about) Thanks, Tom
