HD Photo Kit from MS

What do you think about this small app? I think it would do no harm to have it around although i am reluctant to download from MS. Since that the plugin works with PS I think it will do no harm to have it.

Peter, I don't have CS2 or CS3 so I cannot test the plug-in. I can say that I have never had problems with downloads from MSDN.

This is a beta release so some errors in the import or export may be encounted.

I must be missing something on this. Is Microsoft introducing a new format that you can save or convert JPEGs to or do we have to wait until devices can generate such a format? I assume this may someday replace the JPEG and will become the standard format for cameras?
Would be nice to save an image with higher quality and less file size than JPEG.
