    I know too this holiday. A lot of flowers, and a lot of drunk men on street because all women cook food of theyr houses

    Since I live almost in Russia, I know march 8 very well.

    In present days it have almost no relation to 1917's story. It is just a woman's day.
    We prepare gifts and flower to mothers, grandmothers, sisters, girlfriends and collegue womans, and pupils prepare gifts and greetings to girls in classes.
    In USSR it also was like Valentine day.

    P.S. Here is symmetrycal men's day - February 23 - the day of army and navy.
