    Default Tacoma Church

My wife and I were walking in our neighborhood in Tacoma, a small city in the northwestern section of the USA. There is a small neighborhood church, and I took a photograph of it. I used that photo as a source for this picture.

Lovely drawing Alan. Did you do all the work with a mouse?

    nice one alan
I wheeled back my chair and looked at it from a distance of 6 foot or more [as you would with a painting] and on my high res screen it really looks great
    well done

Thanks for all the nice comments, everyone.

    Soquili,

I use a Wacom tablet, the small Intuos. A lot of what I drew I traced from the photo, and in a bitmap program like Painter, it's just not practical to draw with a mouse, in my opinion. I even use my Wacom in my Xara experiments.

Naw, I glued it to the picture with Super Glue. You'd need an army of stout ruffians to pry it loose!
