    Spirals (from ivan louette): Instead of using SPX-E you can also manually create custom spirals.

    Blend on a Curve with an offset (from ivan louette): Another partly hidden feature in Xara X.

    Drawing Objects by layers (from Nicolae Trifu). This mini tutorial shows an excellent technique used in creating very realistic objects.
