Here's a little graphics trick that was posted somewhere in this forum sometime ago. The link was to a Photoshop tutorial, I recall, as well as an animated flash version of it. It's much more convincing when done to an actual photo, but it's possible to get it to work for a simple illustration. Recognize the weird hat?

I found it on the net couple of years ago but can't recall the talented author unfortunately. I'm not claiming ownership so shouldn't be copyright issues in showing it here

I remember ... when I was very young, had a story book.
On the cover was a kiddie holding a book which was the same bookas theone I was holding .. the same 'infinity' thingo.
That image stuck in my head most vividly for some reason.
I must have been about 3yo and I spent hours puzzling over it.
I think it did something to my mind ...

The broken frame adds the element of continuity from the larger to the smaller copies, something that is not present in the picture within picture we all saw at one time or the other before.
Devo, Bill. Funny I can recall the name of the band, the funky hat, but none of the songs...

Had some sheet music which a color cover with a reindeer and the same effect. So I had to do a similar thing with and hand mirror and the bathroom mirror. It still amazes me. I think it opens a worm hole and you are somehow pulled into another dimension and eventually end up in ..... the XaraXone.
