OK, I downloaded Wings and found it very user friendly. I've been following Gidgit's tutorial and learned more from it than I had been able to from online sources. Thanks, Gidgit.
One problem I have is rendering the models. How??
Well, I'm still messing around with Blender, discovering more and more about it. Here's what I managed to come up with so far...

Looks very good to me, Grafixman. I'm not familiar with Blender and it's settings, but this image is great.

Nice job on the modeling, and a good render to boot. Blender is very powerful, if you can figure out how to do anything with it. I tried and gave up.
