    Hello Vagg,

    Welcome to Talkgraphics.

In Xara3D .jpg, .gif, .png, etc can only be used as textures. To use a file as a 3D object it must be in a vector format of .xar, .web, .wmf, or .emf.

Have you made your post in the right section Vagg? Xara3D is a all about creating 3D text and objects not photographs. Let us know which program you are trying to import your pictures into and I am sure someone will try to help.

Sorry if im in wrong spot,I am running Xara3d6.
I figured out I think what I wanted to do by right clicking on the background and adding a picture for texture.Although adding pictures and making #D things would be cool to.

Hey no need to apologise I was just concerned that you might have meant to post in Xara Xtreme forums as XX is more commonly used for picture manipulation that Xara3D. Glad you figured out how to import your pics as a texture.
