A Plug-in to create a tiling image?

Do anyone know of a plug-in that will take an image and modify it so it can be used as a seamless repeating tile?

I know you can create a repeating pattern using 4 triangles but what I am looking for is a background pattern that looks like it is just one continuous image.

There are plugins for photoshop and free ones for the GIMP that do a panorama. Is that what you mean?

If you do a Google search for 'panorama plugins' there are several entries.

Seamless Border is what I was looking for. Thanks to all.

I tried the Redfield plug-in but could not get the effect I wanted. Maybe I missed something?

You can make a seamless pattern without a plugin in Ulead PhotoImpact and also in PaintShopPro, if you have one of those, you don't have to look any further. I like PI's.
