    Default New Xara Lover

    Hi everybody,
I'm new at Xara, and just want to say that I am in awe of all your art posted here. Here is a picture that I've been working on. It's not perfect, and could use some tweaking, but just wanted your opinions on it. Thanks for taking the time for a newbie!

    Sandra, I really like this!

I love dragons, and I particularly enjoy Celtic knotwork.

Have you seen the artwork posted here by GeoBen?

He does a wonderful amount of Celtic inspired artwork.

    nice work, mostly.

you left out a few Xover lines, but a small thing. I think that the two motifs could be better integrated, either by making the dragon grow out of the knot or complete the knot and twine the dragon into it.

i just might steal the idea.

Thanks everyone for the input! And yes, you're right, I was having a lot of trouble with entertwining the lines and I've been working on that. Also, I too think its a bit dark. When I get done with it, I'll post it again and see what you guys think. Thanks again...your opinions mean alot!

    Very nice Sandra,
My first impression of the scales were that they were tiles. Interesting drawing.
