Default small projects for speed modeling...

I have been doing up some smaller speed modeling challenges recently, finding that they are just perfect for my doodling and ever decreasing attention span

Maybe some others might wish to do up some of these items... as well add some other simple objects...

Whatever you can model within 3 hours or less... then heck, complete em and save up for a cool scene... Post as many wires as possible in order to demonstrate as much as possible how the model was approached...

So far in the past couple of days, we did a :

    Toy Chest
    Mug
    Sword
    Shield
    Lantern

Mug... ok this is a really simple mug, but hey, it could give someone an idea eh Here we were just setting some loops in place so as to match up with the back of the handles for some inside dimples... not really required, but just a thought...

A dry spell for so long and when it rains, it pours... Wow, gidgit, looks like you're really on a roll with these... Gotta post a memo on my monitor to never pull your leg again about not posting anything.... .
But yep, I do small stuff now and then, too, just to keep the hotkeys memorized... Gotta dig the WIP folder later to see what I've been accumulating...

    Small projects under 3 hours...
I've been doing these. The mousetrap originally started out when I was exploring other Wings primitives. The cube, sphere and cylinder are the three main ones I use, but the spring primitive was handy for, well, springs... . So a mousetrap it became.
The oilcans were results of trying to master the screw function in Blender. Did some edge, "screwed" them and I ended up with something resembling a screw on cap. Had to use it for something. Lots of odds and ends in my Wip folder. But I never seem to get around to making an entire scene out of those..they just fill up the HD until the next disk failure...
