    Default WMF format needed

I have made pictures in Xara, copied and pasted them to 3D and want the (3D)result as a wmf-file. Does anybody have any suggestions how I could handle this.

The reason for the wmf is that I make templates for PowerPoint. With the wmf-format the user has the possibility to change the fill and the line color as he wants. And I must say, I'm too lazy to redraw it all in Xtreme to get the wmf. Overall tere are more than 100 pictures to do. So, if you have a good solution for this prob this would help me save a lot of time.

    Thanks for any help.

Don't think you have an option out of Xara 3D to save to .wmf. There's no point in saving to .wmf if you are working with a bitmapped image.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

Thanks Sally. I'll do the diagrams by redrawing and exporting them with the emf/wmf-format. Maybe some day there will be an optimized export within 3d.

While X3D will not export wmfs it will export to Flash Vector.

So if you have Macromedia Flash you can export in Flash Vector format from X3D, import that swf into Macromedia and break it apart.

Flash will then export that as wmf.

I tested this and imported the exported wmf into Xtreme - it works.

    See attached ...
    Attached Files Attached Files
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

Thanks Raymond. That's the way I found out also. But from Xara3D you get the sides of the objects with gradient colors. These colors are exported to different separate objects.

As an example look at your sample picture. The side of the text is not just one part, but different ones.

I intend to make templates for PowerPoint where rhe front is one object and the side is one object. So the user can simply recolor it as wanted.
I did it now by redrawing the pictures in Xtreme. Some more work, but the result is what I wanted.
