New ai user needing help w/simple task

Hi,
I'm new to the site/forum and feel so lucky to have found such a great resource. I'm also a new designer and need loads of help.

I'm attempting to design a logo and need help w/making a simple triangle. I know this cannot be hard but i'm just not getting it.

Any assistance would be greatly appreicated.

Select the star button. left click on the page and select 3 points and your good to go. Size as needed
