    Default Sliding pictures

I've just made some examples for sliding pictures.

The images in these are just samples to show the effect.

The first one slides from left to right and reverse (no 360° slide). At the borders the movement goes slower until it stops at the end. Just point over the arrows to see the effect.

The second slider includes three 360° pictures which can be chosen by clicking on the numbers at the bottom. The arrows are buttons for fast/normal left/right movement. This movement is never ending, that means it goes round and round.

Enjoy looking. I hope you like it.

That was fascinating, thanks for the "tour".. I am dizzy.. Joke !!

    gorgeous country ..!!

The seamless stiching of the photos is great work. I am assuming you used a tripod to swivel your camera the 360.

photoshop and some third party plugins? ha ha ha.. I don't want you to give away your secrets but that is great work.

YOu have convinced me in just a couple of your submissions, that I need to spend less time in 3D and get more into flash and what it can do for my images and current projects.!! Thanks for the two demo's

I will be looking forward to seeing more of your work

    Must have used a tripod?

If not - some great stitching!

Great work - a pleasure to view. Thank you.
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

    Thanks folks.

Here are just a few statements about the posts above.

The pictures are'nt from me. Sorry about that. These are just samples from a picture-cd. On the other way I've made 360 degree pictures by myself as well. I then used a tripod with a little tool that comes between the tripod and the camera. This tool has a scale with degrees so it's easy to get always the right angle (ie. every 30 degrees one foto). Additional I use a spirit-level to get the right angle to the horizon.

When making such photos I use Ulead Cool 360. That's a little tool that helps putting the separate images together in a good way. That tool works fine for me, is easy to use and the results are good.

Germany is realy nice. We have beautiful landscapes here ... but the enclosed pictures are not in Germany I believe. Sorry to say that. But in any way, come to Germany. You're always welcome.

Nice work tomcat! My only complaint would be that while technically the arrows move the picture in the direction they show, as a user I expect a right pointing arrow to move my view to the right (and the picture to the left) and vice versa.

LOL, but then the pictures would be upside down. Anyway, I'm the only person to comment on the arrows, but I suspect that i'm not the only person surprised by the movement.

Those controlls on a cassette deck would point left for backwards, right for forwards and we intuitively (in the west anyway) move to the right for forwards and left for backwards.

Be interested to see if I'm alone in this.

I was a bit confused as well concerning the direction.
I thought that the people were somewhat squat, maybe the image has been reduced in height.
The second image is clearly a collection of many photos.
I am not sure if the inclusion of a loader is required on a forum.
Shows the power of flash very nicely.
