Yeah I know, if they would ask for free logo`s that woudn`t even be
the problem, but they ask for tips but have no idear or intention
to use the program, like a lame excuse that some user couldn`t
redo anything because the trial verson has run out, while the time between
the request and that last message was less then the trial period. Like I can`t do math. And Pro even has a 30 day trial period.

Bit of a misunderstading here... I didn't mean that the software creator is defrauding anyone. I meant that "SERIOUS designers" passing off these creations as "orignal/unique" logos would be tricking people.
I'm sure it has it's uses (can't see it right now though).
There are more lucrative things to do on the web - than making template based logos.

Wow.
I must say, I'm a little hurt at how this thread turned out.
I was searching Google for "The Logo Creator" and found this forum and this particular thread.
My name is Marc Sylvester - I'm the creator of The Logo Creator.
I'm sorry that Parahandy thinks he's gotten a raw deal.
Risto, I'm sorry to hear you call my software ridiculous without even knowing what it does.

Yes, it went "south/too negative" all to quickly, and it was entirely my fault.
That's because 99.9% of the time - posts like this are spam. This forum is for members to discuss graphics, not for companies to come and promote their products. Bitter? No. Miffed to see spam? Yes.
I work in telecom... I'm not a professional designer. I'm not worried, as you wouldn't want my job...
The term "Serious designer" was used by the original poster - and as such, I think The Logo Creator is completely ridiculous.
As I mentioned above, we don't allow companies promoting/advertising their products on this board. However, there were some "misunderstandings" here also - so, I will leave as is for now.
I'll see what the other moderators think... If someone edits your post - it will be to remove your sales pitch and links to your products.

No for creating a logo you don`t have to pay $200, for Xtreme is about $79
and for logo`s you don`t really need more. If you want some flash for your
logo you would need to pay $200 for Xara Xtreme Pro.
And I don`t know if photoshop is the best, never used it, but I certainly
like Xtreme (pro) and for me it is the best.
I like making logo`s, and some have gotten them for almost free from me,
totally personal logo`s. And in Xtreme it isn`t so hard to do.
And 79 bucks aint much when you can make unlimited designs for your logo.
But if people wanna spend money on it, fine by me.
But SERIOUS designers? No I don`t think they would use
it, although, maybe handy for dime a dozen jobs maybe.
But this sounded a lot like spam to me, where did you come
out in this site when you searched for "logo creator"?

Hi Ankhor.
I stand corrected. Xtreme is only $79 - it was Xtreme Pro I must have meant.
The Google search I did, by the way, was ("The Logo Creator" and forum), Every once in a while, I search to see if others are talking about the software.
The Google link is found at the bottom of this page:

Oh nothing wrong with that, just curious, I did the same on somebody here
and found out he claimed my ("charityware") logo I made for him as if he made it himself.
So I try to followup too.
And nothing wrong with your software, I just wouldn`t use it.
And I aint a serious designer but a doodle around, it`s a hobby.

Marc (Laughingbird),
I edited out your sales pitch and links portion, but the thread and your posts are still here so that members may discuss the software if they wish to do so.
Good luck!
