I needed to do a megaphone for a web site. I wanted it in Flash. The biggest problem is that you get so used to used to feathering etc, it's a pain to have to recreate them some way in Flash. Exported straight from XXPro to swf by the way.

Intbel - She's only half the woman she used to be! Excellent looking work.

Good to see someone is eggsploiting the benefits of Xara's ability to eggsport to Flash.

    An eggseedingly good mEggaphone.

Maybe now folks will hear you when you tell 'em they are off topic >grin<
"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

You are both being a bit egg-centric now. Like your megaphone and how you solved the problem of tools you can't use to make flash work Egg. It is rethinking the mousetrap, isn't it.

I also posted this seat in the HOG Wild Challenge. I usually don't post in Stop and Post but thought I should this time. This one portion came out quite to my liking.

Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.

I saw your saddle in hog wild challenge Sally and I thought at the time now there is a piece of art which stands out on its own, the stitching realistic like the rest of the saddle.

Raymond, your friend in the red dress isn't from Sleepy Hollow, is she?

Know1, thanks for the Reiki symbol and the runes. These are really nice.

When I did a section on the runes for my web site, I did them all in jpeg, with Paint Shop Pro...I hadn't discovered the beauty of vector and the awesome power of Xara back then.

I am truly amazed at the things being done by others (and sometimes I even surprise myself!?)

This is a cover for a CDROM I'm about to publish. It's aimed Year 4 teachers to support science teaching with an interactive whiteboard.

The original images (there's lots more on the CDROM) were created in Xara Xtreme and exported as .wmf's to Flash - I've found that exported .swf's convert some lines to bitmaps whereas .wmf's keep them as is.

I tend to keep them fairly flat and add shading in Flash - see Egg's comments about feathering above.

The skeleton is built up of separate bones - so kids can explode it and rebuild it on the whiteboard.

The torch (flashlight) lights up when the switch is pushed and goes out when the batteries are removed.

Stopwatch is used to time heating and cooling simulations.
