My name is Pakak I am Eskimo from Point Hope Alaska, small whaling village 200 miles above the arctic circle in the north west portion of the state.

Point HOpe is the oldest continually inhabited settlement or village in all of North America !!

Life can accurately be traced back many thousands of years to this one tiny bit of land that looks sorta like (cape cod) upside down.. see map or globe

This is where I live.. The ocean is FROZEN 9 months of each year !!
