    Default How do i do this?

    how do i apply the glass (aqua) effect to an image or make an aqua icon?

    ex:

    Hi!
    I presume you are referring to using Photo Impact to do this and if so, I put these together for you using PI 12 simply by drawing rounded rectangles in various colours and with various transparencies until it looked near enough.
    Never made these before but it was simple enough and I'm sure that with a bit more care taken, they would look better?

    Welcome Cosmo Kramer... just create what you see... for example, the blue sphere... make a base shape, make the top reflection shape with gradient running into the base shapes color along the bottom, make the bottom reflection shape, feather the edges, and your pretty much done... extra objects with various gradients and transparencies will provide extra depth within the reflective look of things...

    the green one also uses shadow offset...
