    Default 1961 Mga

Posted the beginning work in the December "Stop and Post". Here's the finished work.
Seems very flat after seeing Val's last posting on "Visitor". Oh well, something to aspire to, right?

Great work Ron. I'm always fascinated with the reflections you add to your drawings. Makes them come alive.

Almost as good as my wreck of the same model Ron. Only kidding, superb as usual.

Ron, most most excellent, and anything but flat-looking. Weird how small they made the hoods in those days in those cars.

    Great work ron

Your cars are made so much better because the the tiny details that you put in them.

If i am able to achive half the greatness of you cars in making my cars then i will have achieved something in my life.

    Mr. Duke,

If you could call Marilyn flat, you could call this flat. Beautiful car, beautifully done. The feathering on the right front tire has not quite the same level of 'realness' as the rest (unless you are seeing it as being in motion). There is a darkening in the reflection in the right front quarter panel that makes it look dented and there appears to be no way to open the door... no handle and no seam... but then, who would when it is so much cooler to leap in over the door?

ok... i HAD to say something, perfection is annoying.

Great job, Ron. Looks really good and realistic. I love the detailed glosses and the mirroring. Super:

Love the car, and the reflections. very well executed.
Every day's a new day, "draw" on what you've learned.
