You've seriously got to go some to improve on what you've done here Valery.

I'm always amazed when I revisit this page.

OK, it's been a LONG time since this thread was started, but I came across an old link.

Personally I think this was the best artwork created with Xara ever. Worth a second look.

That's a great link. Valery's conductor is amazing too.

I think Gray is one of the few still producing incredible images today.

Impressive for a website creation program..

my point really I suppose, back then it wasn't - you could create website asset such as buttons, but it had not gone fully in that direction, you could count the number of TG website related queries on the fingers of one hand; now it's the other way round...

    Exactly.

Anyway, people evolve, software evolves and directions change and it can be very unproductive living in the past.

I came across this link because of an old email. Other emails from that period made me think "How the heck did I do all this stuff?", and a very few "What the heck is this about?"!

I think we've forgotten about Xara as an art/illustration programme and most people have moved on to alternatives.. ..including me.

Thanks for posting that handrawn. Those were the glory days when lots of people participated and TG was still a vital and fun place to be and although still wet behind the ears I learned a lot. This got me wondering if we started doing some really nice work if just perhaps we might spark some interest and get more participation again maybe not to it's former glory
