again, just amazing. From the dimples in her elbows to the tension in her skirt.... just amazing. Even her fingernails are appropriately toned (yes... i zoomed in at 400%).

There is a trace of your signature 'ellipse method' in her right arm, but i can see no area that is not smooth and appropriate. This must take you countless hours.

    I envy your students.

Thank you all for good comments.

When my portrait will put on the wall of a museum, I will see all visitor faces.

I`m afraid you know everything I can to say. But anyhow later I will show first steps of this picture and I hope you will understand the last ones.

Ross, you are right about shadows. I was tired and it was too late at night (5 a.m.) or very early morning , but I try to finalize the picture and so I did miscellaneous without necessary attention.

because all colors I used are named I did “light version” for discussion.

Я сначала хотел в красноватых тонах сделать фон , чтобы оттенить еще один смысл слова визитор- менструация, но передумал.

Yes, I used photo for referencing . I wrote earlier, that I can`t to draw such difficult pictures from my mind. Only interpretation.

Breathtaking. Problem is I'm not sure if it's your skill that's taking my breath away, or the woman. I guess it's both.

Thanks for posting such wonderful work.

    И правильно.

А насчёт волос, это правильно - я тоже хотел бы узнать как они сделаны. Давно хотел один портрет по фотке нарисовать, но на волосах запнулся. Не планшетом рисовали?

How about hair? Was it tablet?

    Thumbs up Re: Visitor

Stunning!!!! I liked the dark backround more though, because the painting she's looking at is more interesting in dark colours then in these light tones. And the contrast between the dark painting and the light girl is captivating.. But maybe for the whole of the graphic the lighter one is better...I don't know.. But again: wonderfull artwork !

Well, Ron...I think Val does teach in Russia. Maybe we should go there and enrol in one of his classes! (hey, I can dream, can't I?)

When I see his art work, I am invariably overwhelmed!

    Thanks, Val...

The image is so real that I think I am in love and I have not even seen her face
