    Default Can't open SWF file

I'm really frustrated. I can't open any SWF files. What should extension SWF be associated with?

The MacroMedia Flash Player, a free download, is probably easiest.

When I go to macromedia.com it takes me to Adobe.com. There is Adobe Flash Player. I went ahead and said "install it" which it did. Apparently it installed successfully because the "Flash Movie" showed at the top of the page. But when I try to associate SWF with it, I can't find it in the list of applications.

Okay. I guess I got it. I associated SWF with Firefox and now it works. It also works if I associate it with Internet Explorer.
