Hey, Doug...you started it with the peppermint!

I suppose I should have used SnapArt on this to help keep it on topic, but I did use some of the competitor (Corel Paint) that we've been talking about.

    Enjoy your candy...

My preference would be to have something other than being limited to presets. Never really got something I liked. Maybe reblending would be fine.

I think the best way to look at this plug is as an effect. There are plugs that give you a rust or slime effect, and this one gives you oil paint etc brush effects. I doubt that it was ever meant to replace Corel Paint.

HOWEVER if someone designs a 'Corel Paint IX in a plugin' for XXP, I'll be the first one to buy! :-)

One can get Corel Painter Essentials, a scaled down version of Corel Painter, for $79 US. I imagine the price is not much different in Europe. That's a lot less expensive than Snap Art.

I have the full Corel Painter, and I love it.

Yes, I know, I too have Painter IX.5. What I meant was for use within Xara-for whatever reason.

    Hi Doug,

I see what you mean now. I hope I didn't offend you.

Nope, not at all. I was just in clarification mode!
