New To Corel - how to combine images

Lets say I open a 8x11 photo. Is it possible to add another photo to it? Lets say a 3x3 in the corner and then be able to combine both photos into one. My old program (MS Digital Image) could do it but I can't seem to find the right method.

Also, how do I import a picture on the hard drive?
