Thank you Tao, yes, it was a lot of work.
But what the hell - it keeps me off the streets.

Er ... I didn't try. Just went ahead and did it.
The word "try" is in the same category as "can't" - not at all useful.
Yes, I'm probably a little crazy - the best people are crazy.

Coming from you, Val, that is praise indeed.
    Thank you.

"Intbel" ... "Can't" is not an option.

Compliance is futile. Resistance is futile. Just do your own thing an' ignore 'em.

    Thank you Ron.

I think this is the right moment to explain something.

While this is a work in which I take some pride, for I find the end result very pleasing, some comments are not really justified.

Unlike Val (for instance) who is a talented and skilled artist, I have little in the way of such ability yet.

The Millhouse drawing was achieved, not through skill so much as through patience and tenacity.

Anyone can import a photograph of a painting, zoom in and draw around a coloured shape and fill it with the appropriate colour.
(Okay, a lot of fractal fills)

No skill required for that, I'm sure you will agree.

To get the same result, just do that around 8,000 times.

This is not false modesty (I am proud of this drawing) it is stating things as they are - the truth of the matter.

Patience and perseverence more than any artistic ability is required though I'll concede that an eye for detail and an overall aesthetic appreciation is, perhaps, needed.

The only part which is my original is the sky and the smoke ...

I'd say that the ability to see any work of art through to the end is an integral part of the entire process. No need to be so modest about it.
