    Default menu requires double click

I used webstyle 4 in dreamweaver to create the menu at the top of this page:
    www.virtualgeorge.com/pmcc

On my computer with win2k it works fine with IE & FF.

When I try my computer with XP, I have to click each menu twice before the links work. I know I have to add some extra code for flash buttons so I don't have to click them twice. Do I have to make a change to the xara menu code as well? Or is it just somethng I did wrong?

    thanks

    Hello George, welcome to TalkGraphics.

First of all, let me say I like your site, very nice and clean work, and it also load remarkable fast (takes less than a second to load every page).

    Bright idea and neat design.

About the menues, they work fine with Firefox, and what you describe is a feature in Internet Explorer. This is not webstyle's problem, but flash plug in's.

You see the border around your flash picture? You need to click on it in order to activate it. The menues (sub menues to be exact) are affect by it.

Please read THIS thread on how to solve this problem.

    Thanks Availor!

I should have realized that since the menus are coming down over the flash movie.

I agree with Availor. Very attractive site.

The hand-written menus in PDF format are an interesting touch, but pretty slow to download.

Yeah there are some maps there also that are pdf on that site that are even bigger and take a while to load. Probably too long for dialup. The client had just scanned thier menus and saved as pdf & emailed them to me. Think I should convert to gifs or something that would be a smaller files size?
