Default Spot Colors in Xtreme or Xtreme Pro?

I went today to get a screen print of my logo. The guy said that I needed to make my graphic spot color.. The question is this.. How do you make a gradient a spot color? I made the word sample with a metal gradient.. I just have no clue how to do this..

    Hi

I think the key word is 'screen' printing - ie one colour at a time, like plate printing onto paper; not photographic printing.

You have two choices - either simplify your design so it has, say just two colours - and I guess in single tones - you have to be clever with screen printing to get a gradient. Or go somewhere which uses a digital process.

[can someone move this thread to the main X/Xpro one please]
