    Intriguing use of Flash.

    That reminds me of a film made a long time ago in which Picasso did paintings on glass that were photographed from the back as he painted. He did a lot of painting over and changing his painting as the painting progressed.

    Someone posted a link here a while back of avi's of a woman painting on a sand table which had a very similar effect to what Gary mentions above.

    I remember that - I don't have the url but I do have the file on my HD somewhere ... too big to post here, I'll dig it out and find out what size it becomes as an swf.
