X3D Upgrade ... *¿*

Well, not exactly, sorry if I got you excited.
We use Xtreme in conjunction with X3D, right?
So if Xtreme is upgraded then it might be supposed that X3D output could also be enhanced.
Here is one result of using Xara Pro's Flash ability in conjunction with X3D.

3D is not my thing - I just did this to get folks thinking about the possibilities.

As soon as I looked at your flash image, the 1st thing I thought of was that Intbel industries had found a bug in X3D. It certainly doesn't look like an enhancement.

Well, it is an enhancement if you wanted that effect which you might if you wanted shivering images for a wintry effect >grin<

The point of the post was to get XPro and X3D to think about the possibilities.

Would be nice if they incorporated a layers feature to X3D. Could reduce the annoyance of having to precisely place sizing pixels in Xtreme and blah blah blah...you know what i mean.
What do all the experts in here think? Should we petition XARA to include a layers feature?

I'm not sure how layers would be used in Xara3D. Could an object on another layer be extruded into a layer that is in front of it?

I think that having the ability to set X Y Z coordinates would be more useful. This would be consistant with other 3D programs.

I don't know Xara Group Ltd's plans for Xara3D. It was intended to create 3D text with some animation options for use on web pages.

With the super users that have pushed the program beyond it's design limits, who knows what may be added to future versions.

Never thought about that XY coordinates...that would make perfect sense, too.
Do you think the good people at XARA read these forums and brainstorm about suggestions such as these?
