Thread: Sphere help

    Default Sphere help

From reading the postings about the 3D globe, i have yet to find if it is possible to have the globe (ball, sphere...whatever ) have a border around it?
Here are the 2 parts i have made seperately. I am wanting to have the 2 pieces as one so that the outer ring can spin around the sphere in the center.

I also attached a GIF file of an end result achieved by useing the 2 parts in a GIF animator...but cannot have the outer ring do more than just rotate clockwise/counterclockwise.

Please let me know if it is possible.

    suunto,

On the first Xtreme warning, this is because I made the xar file in XtremePro. If you click okay it shouldn't make any difference. Just ignore it.

On the 3 globes issue, yes this is correct. The other 2 ore "Sizing Pixels" adopting the bevel value of the centre globe. Just resize the window so that these 2 spare globes aren't visible.

hehehe...Hey Pogee! Glad to see you made it over here!

Drifter...the water animation is from a program called SQIRLZ WATER REFLECTION. Is easy to use. Can created water waves, water rings, rain, and snow effects.

Here are a few samples that I made useing SQIRLZ for the water and/or weather effects.
