Default Xara Xtreme Pro for Linux?

Is there going to be a native version of Xara Xtreme Pro for Linux ?

    Thanks

I suspect not, at least in terms of an open source version, given that most of the improvements are to areas that are not include in the os version due to either legal or technical reasons. However, I would certainly be interested to hear from someone who actually knows what the relationship will be between the Pro, Regular and Open Source versions.

Its to bad that the beta still doesn't install under Wine.

I got it to install and run under wine, although it was a bit of a trick. I had to manually download and install GDI+ and MSXML4, and then when I ran the beta installer when it asked if it was ok to download files, I said no. It then asked me where GDI+ was located, and everything seemed to go ok after that.

That's great to hear, obviously I didn't try very hard.
