    I really like that, though your vertical objects (tree trunks or poles?) are a bit ambiguous as to what they are - pulling my eye to them and away from the main vista.

    My thoughts precisely. Nice drawing but for the goalposts.

    I disagree with you all because these vertical objects (I think they are tree trunks) give a nice perspective. It's like the viewer is standing on the shore looking out over the lake. Also it gives the drawing an abstract touch. I like it as it is! Maybe the only thing Tim should change is make the tree trunks more tree-like and let some branches (very subtle) hang down. More like the impression of trees...well I don't know...try it and see if it's better.. maybe not..

    Excellent! Reminds me of some places I've seen up in Alaska. I agree with Marcia. Maybe the odd twig on one of the trees would break up their symmetry a bit.
