    Default Coiled spring

    After creating the gel/ toothpaste, I realised the difficulty in making the paste in a rounded shape. I was then inspired to construct a spiral/ coil/ spring object.

    That was a most successful exercise.
    And a nice illustration as a result.
    It's great when someone is successful in figuring out how to do something.

    I have just spent half an hour figuring this out and produced the attached image which doesn't work very well.

    As I post this, I suddenly become aware this is the 3D forum so this Xtreme construction is redundant -

    ... unless its .xar file imports into X3D nicely but that I won't know yet 'cos I never saved it ...

    See, it's the Salaam and Simsmj show all over again! I too have been trying to figure this out and haven't gotten anywhere, except the fork in the road called Frustration Point!!!
