Nice & Helpful People Here

Unfortunately, I don't get on here much unless I need instruction...but I surely wish I could;I just don't have that time.

I've had the unpleasant experience to go on Macromedia message board for help on enough occasions that I can say that most of them, not all, but most seem to be stuck up and assumptuous in their thinking that everyone there should be a whiz with that program. This is the 'feel' I get when I post a question. It is probably just me but there is certainly a difference between there and here...

Here, you all are most helpful, friendly and seem happy! When I leave I don't feel inferior or small but rather lifted up!

So, I wanted to share that and thank you all and ask to continue to be helpful and kind (unlike alot of other message boards).

Hi, Meia...

Your opinion is the same as mine. When I first came to this forum, I was a little scared of asking "stupid" questions. The people who answered never mad me feel like an idiot, but acted as if they genuinely wanted to be helpful.

Now, occasionally I actually am able to help others. It feels good!

I first visited the Xara forums about 6 years ago. The help and friendly atmosphere have kept me coming back every day.

I've noticed on a lot of forums that'll you'll have a 'in' crowd that have been there from almost day one that get really chummy with each other and tend to reject outsiders. Hope that never happens here.

Well it used to be that way but it depends upon the personalities of the people, here most people don't mind helping each other, Ringtail.
