Here's a jolly pirate fellow I did as a signature image for a friend who wanted it for of all things, a pirate forum.

This was when I was still learning Painter so it has a rough quality to it. The only vector part was the globe. Which is probably why it sticks out like a sore thumb.

Yes, very good, Ringtail. Didn't want a Pirate's eyepatch! The Blighter, should make 'im walk der plank, keep haul 'em and hang 'em from de highest yard arm.
That'll teach 'em Pirate-manners.

Ahhh Intbel....you've honored me again with your animation. You really are a wizard with the Xara animation tool. The bubbles are a great touch. I kinda wonder if perhaps the Johnny Depp 'Jack Sparrow' character has made the old pirate eye patch passe?
