Very nice logo ankhor, I like the last one. I like it how you made the shadows and bevels nice work.

Here's my aircraft picture, not finished but I don't think I will work on it more, too many small details.

Ah man, it is getting there, also some wipe effects for movement, it
looks great. if you make it appear in movement, you can forget a lot of detail.

Sorry, the following attachment is not exactly Nov 2006, but considering its never been used for anything i thought i just post it here. No transparent fillings are used, its 'fully' pdf postscript compatible.

Nostaw. what a wonderful drawing, it must have taken you ages to do and so much patience to do it. Thanks for sharing it with us, I will learn a lot from your technique.

Thanks norman! It took me roughly about 6 hours if i recall correctly. And of course I had a couple of reference pictures googled off the web. With a good reference picture in the background you only need xara's colorpicker, to draw some shapes - and patience

But that's how it looks in the original photo, so adding movement will make it less realistic won't it?

    Oooo. That Tut is gorgeous.

Availor...sometimes a bit of artistic license can make something look more realistic.

    Superbe farao, Nostaw !!!

I'm working on this 'still life', but I think it's still too dull.
    Any suggestions?

Its more of a landscape than a still life, you need to emphasise the foreground elements of your still life, make them larger within the picture with less space between them and make the background what its meant to be; the background, and so less dominant. The essence of a still life for me is the relationship between the dominant elements, the way they reflect light and colour off each other and form together into a cohesive whole rather than appear as a collection of separate objects.
    Go for it
